Equip De Saints – Doctrinal Statement

Equip De Saints exists to equip believers through faithful teaching of God’s Word for spiritual maturity and holistic Christian living. The following Doctrinal Statement defines the essential biblical convictions that guide all teaching, writing, and editorial decisions on this platform.

All contributors are required to affirm and teach in alignment with these core doctrines.

1. The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible—consisting of the Old and New Testaments—is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.

Scripture is fully trustworthy and is the final authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
— 2 Timothy 3:16

2. The One True God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in essence, power, and glory.

God is holy, sovereign, loving, just, and faithful, and He alone is worthy of worship.

“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”
— Deuteronomy 6:4

3. The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, performed mighty works, died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for sin, rose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in power and glory.

Salvation is found in Him alone.

“And there is salvation in no one else.”
— Acts 4:12

4. The Holy Spirit

We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates the believer, indwells, sanctifies, empowers, and guides God’s people.

The Holy Spirit glorifies Christ and enables believers to live holy and fruitful lives.

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.”
— Acts 1:8

5. Humanity and Sin

We believe that humanity was created in the image of God, male and female, to glorify Him and enjoy fellowship with Him.

Through Adam’s fall, sin entered the world, affecting all humanity. Every person is in need of redemption and reconciliation with God.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
— Romans 3:23

6. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through faith alone in Jesus Christ—not by human works.

Salvation includes justification, regeneration, sanctification, and future glorification.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9

7. The Church

We believe in the universal Church, the Body of Christ, composed of all true believers.

The Church exists to glorify God through worship, discipleship, fellowship, service, and the proclamation of the Gospel.

Local churches are essential expressions of this Body.

“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:27

8. Christian Living & Discipleship

We believe that all believers are called to grow in spiritual maturity and to live out their faith in every area of life.

The Christian life is marked by obedience, love, holiness, humility, stewardship, and good works prepared by God.

“To equip the saints for the work of ministry.”
— Ephesians 4:12

9. Marriage, Family, and Human Identity

We believe that God designed marriage as a covenant union between one man and one woman.

Family is foundational to God’s design for society, discipleship, and spiritual formation.

Human identity is rooted in God’s creation and redeemed in Christ.

10. Stewardship & Vocation

We believe that all aspects of life—including work, finances, leadership, health, and influence—are areas of stewardship under Christ’s lordship.

Believers are called to glorify God through faithful service in every vocation.

“Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”
— 1 Corinthians 10:31

11. Last Things

We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the eternal reign of God.

Those who belong to Christ will dwell eternally with Him; those who reject Him face eternal separation from God.

“Surely I am coming soon.”
— Revelation 22:20

12. Unity and Charity in Secondary Matters

While holding firmly to essential doctrines, Equip De Saints acknowledges that faithful Christians may differ on secondary theological issues.

Contributors are expected to teach with:

  • Biblical faithfulness
  • Humility
  • Charity toward other believers

We reject divisive, sectarian, or pride-driven teaching.

“Speaking the truth in love.”
— Ephesians 4:15
